Department for Education voluntary sector funding


The Department for Education has announced the details of the voluntary organisations which have been successful in their bid for funding from the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) grant. The grant is worth roughly £60 million a year.

A consortium led by NCVYS has been appointed as the Strategic Youth Partner as part of the grant programme. The consortium, known as Catalyst, is led by NCVYS and supported by partners including the National Youth Agency (NYA), Social Enterprise Coalition (SEC) and The Young Foundation.

Other recipients of the funding include NCVYS members Catch22, Children Our Ultimate Investment (Teens and Toddlers), Clubs for Young People, the Diana Award, Endeavour, Foyer Federation, KIDS, Media Trust, Prince’s Trust (and Fairbridge), Princess Royal Trust for Carers, UK Youth and v.
