Transition Fund recipients


Francis Maude, Minister for the Cabinet Office and Nick Hurd, Minister for Civil Society have announced the first payments from the £100m Transition Fund. (The Fund aims to help civil society organisations which deliver high quality public services to be more resilient, agile and able to take opportunities presented by a changing funding environment.)

A total of £1.7million has been awarded to 18 organisations. This includes NCVYS members, Skyway, who have received £151,000, and North Yorkshire Youth Limited, who have received £107,062. Other recipient organisations that work with young people include Shire Training Workshops Limited, Somerset Youth Volunteering Network and Headliners (UK).
