List of cuts impacting on young people

The Guardian has published a blog post highlighting the impact of cuts on young people. It lists nine areas – including housing, jobs, education, youth services and youth programmes – “in which teenagers and young adults appear to be disproportionately shouldering the cuts burden.”

The article draws on information from NCVYS’s paper Comprehensive Cuts. NCVYS is currently producing a second paper to summarise the impact of the government’s measures on young people and the voluntary and community organisations who support them. We welcome case studies from our members to supplement the report.
