Bolton, Birmingham and Oxfordshire

Julie Hilling MP (Bolton West, Lab) has said, during a debate on youth services, that youth services budgets in Bolton will be cut by £200,000 this year and £415,000 next year. She added that the current proposals to cut £2.6 million from Birmingham City Council’s youth service mean about a £600,000 cut to the voluntary sector.

Oxfordshire County Council is proposing cuts to the youth service of £4.2 million. A re-structured youth service will tackle school exclusion, teenage pregnancy, drug use, anti-social behaviour and unemployment. Funding for many local youth services will have to be found from local communities if they are to remain open.

have there been anyother projected cuts for the period of 2014/15 and if yes, what percentage of funding will be lost by the youth services under their local authorities?
